Brianna Bergamini is an Independent Artist
based in North Carolina.

She has had a love for art since she was a child and is inspired by her dad’s art. Brianna discovered her passion for dots over ten years ago and has been painting and drawing in different styles for about fifteen years. She has been featured in several local art shows and has collaborated with local biologists to create educational coloring books about nature.

She has always had a special love for nature and as she grew older, she discovered her fondness for environmental science. She is an environmental biologist with a focus on botany. She actively manages over one hundred and fifty acres of eastern prairies and grasslands – the most endangered ecosystem in the Southeastern United States– and works to restore them back to their natural state. Her love for science is reflected in her artwork. She spends many hours in the field observing plants, mammals, insects, etc., and draws inspiration from the vast shapes, sizes, and vibrant colors found in all parts of nature. Many of her pieces are inspired by and named after specimens she has seen in the field.

When Brianna is not in the prairie or painting, she enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs.
